Tecno Pack Industries Private Limited (TPI), one of Amigo's most successful subsidiaries, represents the group in the automotive sector with the capability to manufacture hi-grade engineering components for various passenger cars, motorcycles and tractor manufacturers in Pakistan. With regards to the manufacturing of engineering components, one of TPI's biggest achievements relates to the successful development of the technology to locally manufacture the Quadrant Assembly, an extremely complex component that is required in the assembling of tractors and contains up to 52 sub-components. Amigo has been recognized as the best supplier of this component amongst its customers for the past 25 years with reference to quality and reliability.
TPI also maintains strong connections with car manufacturers such as the Pak Suzuki Motor Company, for which it supplies various automobile components. Moreover, TPI has also been manufacturing quality motorcycle components for Atlas Honda Limited and DYL for a number of years and has now attained the status of being one of their highly reliable vendors.
Apart from its links with the automotive industry and the manufacturing of hi-grade engineering components through the functioning of TPI, Amigo also has an established consumer electronics division that is primarily engaged in the local assembly and marketing of DVD players in Pakistan under its own brand name "TEC".
